Olivia's Birthday Weekend

It was this young lady's Birthday on Sunday (21st).

She turned 8 and obviously celebrated with her friends.  And being 8 the Party does have to be a little more grown up now, so bowling it was - 16 children aged between 5 and 8years old, so we made these....
Olivia has become a great help with the die cutting, she loves the Bigshot and always tells me her muscles do lots of work turning the handle.  It's so nice crafting with her and her creative input sometimes surprises me.  She chose the colours for the pins 'Coastal Cabana'  her favourite Stampin' Up! colour.  The 'You're Invited' stamp was from a little Studio G set I've had forever.

I decided to do some homemade sugar craft modelling for her cake, OMG this is a lot harder than it looks. Suffice to say my sugar crafting needs some serious practice.  I am so grateful to YouTube and I take my hat off to all those that create beautiful cakes to order for themes popular and strange  - you people are very talented.  It is so not as easy as it looks!!!
Here is my attempt at a cute puppy  - her favourite thing is Dogs.
He began fairly tall and upright but he did slump a little after a while - probably appropriate he reminds me of me really!!

I will be adding my Class Schedule to the Classes Tab later.  So look out for those, until then.....

End of Summer.

This is how our summer looked:

A lovely holiday to Menorca just after the School term finished followed by lots of sunny days on our return home.  The first Summer in our new home and a chance to grow some things in the garden, at last we have a garden.  The Sunflowers we grew from seed were incredible and grew more than 6 feet tall.  It is so satisfying to grow things at last.  Neil grew tomatoes and what a crop we have had, and they taste so good.  All in all a fabulous Summer.

I have been making too, intermittently!  Here are some creations:

Character cards were made for school friends and the tag in the middle was the design I used for sprucing up the bags of some Stampin' Up! orders placed by some lovely ladies in the Summer.

A new main catalogue has gone live and an Autumn & Winter Supplement has also launched and temptation is on every page  - Some fantastic new tools, adhesives and masks lots to play with and very busy in fact I've been a bit too busy as I have moved rooms for my craft space after a bit of reorganisation and will show these pictures in a separate post.  I'm settled in now so the creating can begin!! Yay!

I have some events on my calendar coming up and it's time to get creative -and I cannot wait!

Back soon,.................no really!!
