TELFORD - On Stage Event

Last Saturday 16th April was the second On Stage event held by Stampin' Up! and my first one. Now I have attended many Stampin' Up events over the last 4 years of being a Demonstrator but the new On Stage format is a Global event and all SU Demonstrators get together across all markets at the same time.  The idea is that the dates coincide with a new Catalogue launch, and this one was the new 2016/17 big book and WOW!, definitely the best one yet!!!!!

I travelled with my very good friend and downline Lynne to Telford on the Friday, traffic was, well interesting to say the least.......! It took us a while but the excitement and anticipation helped us, this was Lynne's first SU company event and she was really looking forward to finding out about how Su do an event after signing up during Sale-a-Bration. The hotel was next door to the Convention Centre and we quickly checked in had an obligatory cuppa and headed out for dinner, which was delish.

Back to the Hotel stick the labels on my swaps (last minute again!!) you would think I would know by now.....! Then bed for a 6:30am alarm!

Here's my swaps inspired and totally Cased from the wonderful Barbara Meyer a Stampin' Up! Artisan and clear to see why, I love her projects, I'm in awe of her talent. Click the link yo go to her blog post and get the instructions to duplicate this project.

When it comes to creating a large amount of swaps I'm easily bored and so I like to change themes and colours so I did three versions, first was Sahara Sand featuring the Butterfly Basics Stamp set and a pop of Watermelon Wonder, here it is in this colour way.

The second colour way was Blushing Bride paired with Pool Party and the Blessed by God Stamp set for a Wedding Favour look.

And the third and final version was in Soft Sky paired with Mint Macaron using the Made with Love Stamp set for a Baby Shower maybe?

All of them contained a yummy chocolate treat inside.  I chose Hershey's Kisses a mix of Almond, Milk Chocolate and Cookies and Cream, which you can find in standard size packs at larger ASDA stores in the UK and also in bulk packs on Amazon.

The day was amazing, I received some beautiful swaps in return for my little treats, did lots of catching up with friends, meeting people that I have admired from afar via their blogs and Pinterest, seeing inspiring demonstrations by amazing (and funny) demos, video feed from Salt Lake City Utah that was inspirational and emotional.  Just being with everyone and sharing our love of creativity and this wonderful company is wonderful and i am so grateful to be a part of it.
And best of all we met the new In-Colours and got our hands on the fantastic new Catalogue.
We were told to sit on them at one point as we were all too busy perusing to listen to the presentation.  This is what happens when when you fall in love with Stamps, Paper and Ink and work with the best in the industry, we were like Charlie let loose in the Chocolate Factory........

I will share the beautiful team gift from my amazing Friend and Upline Kerry Timms next..............
